WoW Launcher issues
by Braelor | 08/04/2008 03:13:52![]() Alright, so I've played WoW for a couple years now, and a couple months ago I stopped playing. Like any normal person, however, I recently reinstalled the game so I could check out the new Patch 2.4 content. However, whenever I try to open the WoW Launcher, it says "You can't open the application "World of Warcraft Launcher" because it is not supported on this architecture." Also, the icon for the Launcher has a grey cross in front of it. If anyone knows what I can do, it would be much appreciated, because I can't seem to find any solution to this problem (And trust me, I have tried several.) -Braelor |

To check/repair your directory do the following steps: 1. shutdown the computer 2. wait 10 seconds 3. start the computer making sure you press the CMD (Apple) + s keys right after you press the power button 4. keep pressing them until you see a black screen with white type 5. when you finally get a cursor type: fsck -f -y and press return 6. if anything needed to be repaired run the procedure again 7. once the system says that everything is okay, type exit and press return Let me know if the "grey cross" is gone and Launcher is back to a working order. You might also want to Repair Disk Permissions as well. |
