by Datth | 19/10/2009 18:04:54![]() Hi Varez, Do you not have permission to read and install the game files? Please make sure you're under a Windows administrator account before installing. If you're in on,e please try this - http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=21058 Tech Support How did I do? https://www.surveymk.com/s.aspx?sm=lfO7GX4hyFtZ1WJ5pB7JhQ_3d_3d |
by Datth | 19/10/2009 18:55:30![]() If the Windows copying states that you have a CRC error or an invalid MS-DOS function, there's something wrong with the drive or disc itself when it's busy trying to read the disc. The online installer takes rebuilding the old game files into Wrath files into account for size calculation. It's best to remove the old games and have the Wrath installer download it all for you. by Datth | 19/10/2009 19:04:41![]() Only the DVD will give you that option if you're on a hard drive with limited space. You may want to resort to Safe Mode with the DVD - http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=21148 Tech Support How did I do? https://www.surveymk.com/s.aspx?sm=lfO7GX4hyFtZ1WJ5pB7JhQ_3d_3d |
by Datth | 19/10/2009 20:04:35![]() Can you try copying those files over on another computer? That will let you know if the disc itself is bad or if your DVD drive is having some trouble. If your disc is bad, you can always get a replacement disc. http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId= It will be faster to get the download version of the game in most cases.
I'm not sure if there is considering you worded the question like that. You just uninstall your current set of games (I'm assuming you have WoW and BC installed), then download the installer from http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account and make it install Wrath.
