I am in the SC2 beta. I was playing the game on my computer at work; it stopped working a couple of weeks ago, perhaps because I work at a university. I was elated to see the release of SC2 beta for Mac.

It failed. Badly. I went back and read the system specs for SC2 on Mac. Essentially, they said they will never support my computer for SC2.

My computer is a 2006 Mac Pro, and the only 2 graphic card options for that release are not supported by SC2.

So, now I'm starting to get worried that my 3.5 year old computer won't be able to run Cataclysm.

To be honest WoW is more flexible as far as games go, it still plays on some Mac OS 10.3.9 Macs, which is rather amazing. What's more than likely to happen is that the game will play fine, but you will need to downgrade some graphic settings and no cool special affects like the new water engine.
