Will achievements go account wide?
by Jibrill | 29/06/2010 16:08:57![]() I read a post a long time ago that touched on this. http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=251708444 My question is, can I safely stop trying to get all my alts every holiday achievement and the like? This is mostly regarding "What a long strange trip it's been" and other achievements for fluff like mounts/pets. I would also like to show off my Raven Lord on all my characters. Trying to get 4 alts up right now, I'd love to know that I don't need to kill all my time to get them all the holiday achievements since I'd done that on my main. I like participating in the holiday events that aren't terribly far out of the way- but I'd rather not spend the time riding a gryphon- or grinding a boss that I had spent months doing so already ^this is not about the gear, just the things like pets, mounts, and maybe tabbards [ Post edited by Nethaera ] Blind Progression LFM http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=18313397187& Put Ya Guns On! |
by Nethaera | 29/06/2010 17:23:19![]() It's a possibility for the future. I can't give you much more than that at this point in time, but we do agree that getting a great Achievement on one character and then having to earn it again on another character may not be the most fun for some people. If and when we do make this possible, we'll let you know. “The key to success is often the ability to adapt.” |

Many things that go with this idea are still undetermined and there are a lot of additional questions that need to be answered such as yours. We'll need to figure out if it's all Achievements, Feats of Strength, only Meta-Achievements, and much much more. We don't have answers on this as of yet either and again, we're still talking about something that is a possibility and not assured at this time. We have a lot in the works right now that we hope you'll enjoy. “The key to success is often the ability to adapt.” |
