I have a level 46 character, and after 40 getting levels is like pulling teeth, and you have to go all over the world. I don't like the dungeons, they take to long. I've been leveling in the hinterlands, feralas, and tanaris. BTW, the Dev that decided putting level 50s in part of a zone that has usually 46-49s has a sick sense of humor. It takes a long time to kill something level 50 as a level 46.

There's really a lot of jumping around once you hit the mid-40's. It can be a bit of a pain. Originally it was to create this sense that you're a grand adventurer going all over the world to complete heroic deeds. That sort of notion fell pretty fast though as most people don't want to spend all their time on a bird zig-zagging all over the world.
