Ok. technically this is a ptr question, but it doesnt work on live either:

/use [modifier:shift] 13; 14

Assign this macro to a button on your bar and you have brilliant macro on test, where pressing the shift key changes the icon showing which trinket you have in slot 14 vs 13. It doesnt do anything else

Whereas:

/use [modifier:ctrl] 13; 14

Also changes the icon, but control clicking on this button actually uses the trinket in that slot too!

So whats up with [modifier:shift]? What am I doing wrong?

This is fixed for 2.1.0 release. It still doesn't work for bag slots, but it does work with equipped items now.
