I keep reading allusions to some fix / improvement to ... Disc? ... Which may (or may not) be happening Tuesday.

I'm unaware of any impending changes. I have been forwarding information to the developers as well as the various feedback threads but they are still going through it all and don't have any specific information on any particular changes for everyone just yet. When I do hear more back, we'll be sure to get someone in here or the main forums to let people know.
