Here's a few pretty lean config.wtf file that you can use if you have a lower-end system and you're struggling to get a bit more FPS. If you want to try this, go to your World of Warcraft\WTF folder and open the config.wtf file in Wordpad. Replace the contents with one of the quoted sets below, then save the file. Start the game and it'll apply all settings.

Based on an Athlon 64 x2 3800+, 1 GB RAM, Vista Home Premium, 8300GS media center system hooked up to a TV. It can pull around 25-30 average in Northrend.

As of 3.1.0, you can now set the game to use 16 or 24 bit color and depth in the config.wtf file. The lower setting will help slower computers. Try appending this to your setting:
