US server to Euro

I just moved my location from US to Europe. I still have my US copy cd's with me, Playing a us server from euro is pretty laggy is it possible to Transfer my character from a US server to a Europe Server?

This is from the Paid Character Transfer FAQ:

No. Characters can only be transferred between realms and accounts within the same region.
