[UnResolved] Odd Glare from the Sun...

I keep getting a nasty glare from the in-game sun. Always when looking North West. I would not mind this effect, but i am getting the glare where the sun should not shine. I get the glare when the sun is behind mountains, or hidden behind trees or buildings, and even walls. A great example is me being inside the SunkenTemp (Atal'Hakkar), i get this shine. It only happens in the evening around 7-9pm server time. I attached a picture with the glare, and without.

Any ideas on how to stop it? I never got this before.

I'm confused. There's a ray of light shining to the pedestal/statue thing lower from where you're at but no light source are supposed to go there. Can you tell us more information about your computer? You can find most of the information if you go to Start -> Run -> dxdiag (or on Windows Vista/7, Windows Key + R -> dxdiag)

I'll need the following info:
System tab
Operating system:
System Manufacturer:
System Model:
Processor:
Memory:
DirectX Version:

Display tab
Device Name:
Driver Version:
Driver Date:
Driver DDI Version:
DirectDraw Acceleration:

Your DDI version and driver stuff looks a bit off for some reason. Can you try installing the Catalyst 10.1 drivers and see if it makes a difference? http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=win7/windows-7-64bit

Radeon 5000 series are DirectX 11 cards. DDI should be 11. I don't have one in hand to take a look at so I'll see if I can dig around. Older 4000 series are DDI 10.1

Well, it looks like you have an unrelated bug: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975243

Does anyone else see this type of behavior when they're with you?
