Unable to update WoW

Angmoo!

When ever I try to install the first patch of the beta, I get to the Updater and it runs through before telling me

"The file "/Applications/Wrath of the Lich King Beta/Data/patch.MPQ : World/wmo/Dungeon/Azjol_Uppercity/Azjol_Uppercity_002.wmo" could not be written. If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (MPQTarget::Write/SFileWriteFile)"

I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and could tell me how to fix it

Evening Everyone,

I would recommend first trying to repair disk permissions, also if you have moved the game since you installed it, go to Mac HD => Users => Shared => Blizzard ƒolder and delete the prefs file in there, then launch the game and try to patch again.

Please use the steps below to repair file permission settings
on the hard drive you have installed World of Warcraft.

1.) click on the Finder icon in the Dock
2.) open the Applications folder
3.) open the Utilities folder
4.) double click on the Disk Utility application icon
5.) select the hard drive the game is installed on
6.) select the First Aid option
7.) click on the Repair Disk Permissions button
Let me know how I'm doing...
