So on the PTR today, not sure if it was a bug cause i couldn't test it after the world server went down.

but i couldn't jump down in my normal fashion, i.e. Shifting from bird form directly to cat form, and hitting prowl before i hit the ground...

instead i had to shift to humanoid, to then shift to cat, and by the time i was reaching for my prowl hotkey i had some alliance on me already...

just curious if this is a bug, or intentional. for more of a description when i was trying to shift from one form into another, i was getting the "Unable to do this in shapeshift form" error message.

If you don't have "Auto Dismount in Flight" checked in your interface options, you won't be able to cast Cat Form while in Flight form. Try checking that option and see if it works for you.
