Hey, as a moonkin, I only sometimes see the wave crash effect of my typhoon spell, which is a shame because it's pretty cool.

My specs: Mac OS X v10.6.3
Macbook Pro
3.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M

As you can see, it's a pretty awesome laptop, so I'm concerned that I'm not seeing the graphic.

Can you change the graphics card to the higher end 9600M version ?

Try this: Go to your Apple menu => System Preferences and Energy Saver and choose Highest Performance.

Also at what temperature are you running your MBP when playing the game ?

Shadowawesom is totally right, I was doing some background researching for the issue and completely forgot about this issue from a while back. I looked on the Druid forums and found the info. I'll see if we are planning on revisiting this from the devs side. If I find out anything I'll let you know.

In my defense I mostly PvP now-a-days, so I hardly look at the graphic affects, I just look at the other toons die, or dance on my corpse, hehe.
