Hello Everyone,


Before we get a lot of posts on why isn't the 3.3.3 patch installing, I just wanted to address this. The data that is downloading either while you are playing the game or after you exit the game, depends on how you set up the Downloading Preferences in the World of Warcraft Launcher.app, is not a patch, it's just data for the upcoming patch.

The data download is created to prevent a need to download a huge amount of data when the patch does go live, so basically we are uploading parts of the patch to make it easier to patch at a later time.

If you are at a school that blocks bit torrent data file sharing, you will have to wait for the full patch to be up on our mirror site.

That's a great idea and I would completely ask for that to be done. But unfortunately after having other things posted in the breaking news and still getting a ton of emails about the very subject we posted, I think we have given up on thinking that players read the breaking news, haha.

But I will take this up.

It's not really downloading but checking the files. Do me a favor and go into your Mac HD => Users => Shared Æ’older and delete the Æ’older named: Blizzard. Now launch the game, you might get one more file checking but it should stop there after. Let me know if that helps.

Just a heads up that more pre-patch data is slated before the patch goes live, not sure when and how many, but just wanted to let you know that, so you might just want the Blizzard Downloader do it's thing when you're either downloading while playing the game or when you exit.

When pre-patch data starts downloading, please let us know, since for the most part, I find out when I launch the game and exit out of it, just like all of you.
