THERE IS NO RANGE BUG.

There never was. There never will be. The developer’s know it, but we refuse to accept it. The fact of the matter is that the problem is lag. Every melee class would be up in arms if they didn’t have spammable snares. Warriors and rogues would SWEAR that there is a range bug, if it weren’t for hamstring/crippling.

Druids need a snare.

Developers have been tip-toeing around the entire issue because they don’t want to give this to us, so they simply ignore the issue and hope it goes away. They claim to have “fixed” the bug but I have not seen any noticeable difference in attack range. If the developers were to state that there is no bug, the community would be in uproar, which is why they are silent on the issue. We have been lied to.

The only real fix to feral druids would be to give cat form a snare. Ask yourself this question: Have you ever had trouble attacking a target if it were slowed by another player? Yeah, that’s what I thought.

Unfortunately, the reason we are not given a snare is because druids could downright become overpowered with it. Developers don’t have the time or money to test this so they leave it upon our shoulders to adapt.

This is one of the biggest feral druid problems, especially in arena. Let’s hope that a real fix is someday implemented. I don’t claim to have the best solution, but I am tired of the whole damn false “range bug”.

Perhaps not using all caps would be a good idea for your post to live a bit. :)
