So, the servers are up and your addons are broken? Don't panic! Just download updates to your mods. My addons are broken" thread. I'm just posting common mods having issues): Unitframe mods (AG_UF: Updated at files.wowace) Buff mods Bar mods (Autobar, no update, big-time interference with BT3; Bongos, no update; Bartender 3: Updated at files.wowace) MoveAnything Bar Paging Issues? There have been a lot of problems with bar mods trying to automatically page as players change stances. Keep checking for updates to your bar mod of choice. That totally defeats the purpose of having the check to begin with. There's a "Load Out-of-Date Addons" checkbox. Use it. Why does Blizzard break addons every patch? All Blizzard cares about is making sure its own UI works properly. Anything third-party is explicitly unsupported. There's a general overview at http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=104607129&si Why isn't there an addon memory limit any more? It isn't necessary. Some of the behind-the-scenes changes eliminated the need for it. You shouldn't see problems unless there's a memory leak, and even then you can check by seeing what addon's using the most memory by hovering over your latency bar. Don't do that. It's the same as checking the "Load Out of Date" checkbox in the addon screen but has the disadvantage of you not knowing which addons are out of date if you've updated some and not others. |
