Talent Build Thoughts?

While I'm still only 64, I'm planning my phase 1 end-game talent build. This build will be used for questing, grinding and all level 70 dungeons. Keep in mind, this will not be my raid build, and I do plan to do a heavy amount of grinding/questing still, hence the talent - Celestial Focus.

What do you guys think?

the link you gave us pretty much looks like a raiding build. I would say to take off the points from subtlety and get Nature's Grasp to imp 3/4 NG.

But if this is your raiding build, then tis good


My raiding build will be very similar, don't get me wrong -- but there will be a few notable differences.

Thanks for the advice. I was actually thinking this same thing. If for no other reason than I hate dealing with spell interruptions. I'm going to wait and see how I'm functioning in groups at level 70 to make this decision, however.

For a PvE build I would move those points into Brambles (can't stress enough what a great soloing talent this is.) Subtlety is like Wrath of Cenarius in that it's not really needed until your gear gets better.


You have to keep in mind that I'll be almost exclusively doing pick-up-groups, so sometimes talents like subtlety act as a crutch when grouped with a less than stellar party.

Disagree. Balance of Power adds resist bonus as well as hit, which is extremely noticeable in both solo and end-game play. Additionally, the hit bonus means that you'll never have to pick up a piece of +hit gear unless you really, really want to - it puts you at the max for equal-level mobs. It was a great help to me in levelling up, and it continues to aid me greatly in the end-game as well.

Okay, I think that I'll move into 70 with this slight compromise based on the division of feedback, and let personal end-game experience dictate further change. Particularly with Wrath of Cenarius, Subtlety and Naturalist vs. Nature's Focus.

I've leveled from 56 to 64.5 in five days. I think I'm doing alright. A little tired, but alright... :P

Besides, I greatly enjoy leveling. While I always work to level as quickly as possible, I don't do so at the cost of having fun, and I'm sorry but, Moonkin is alot of fun.
