As I’m sure you’re all aware, BlizzCon 2009 is just around the corner! This is an exciting time for us and for our players, since many of our team members are on assignment to help make the event successful. Due to these temporary staffing demands, our Billing & Account Services and Technical Support departments will close 3 hours early on BlizzCon Friday 8/21. This means Billing and Technical Support representatives will be available to take your calls between the hours of 8am to 5pm PDT on Friday, August 21st.

This is a one-day change. The following Monday, August 24th, our live phone support will resume our standard hours of 8am-8pm Pacific Time.

You can reach our support teams using one of the following methods:

    Billing and Account Services

    For phone assistance please call: 1 (800) 592-5499 || 1 (800) 59-BLIZZARD

As always, our Game Master department will continue to work around the clock to address in-game petitions and emails as quickly as possible. Please be aware, however, that our presence on the Customer Service Forum may be limited throughout the week.

While we may not be in a position to respond to your post immediately, should you require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact a Game Master by submitting an in-game petition or by emailing wowgm@blizzard.com. Additionally, please be sure to check out our stickies, as the answer to your concerns may be found within them.

Here are a few great examples:

Thank you and we hope that those you who are able to join us at BlizzCon have fun and stay safe!
