Suggestion for Guild Relations Member

I'd highly suggest adding "Guild Relations Member" to your signature to make it easier to identify you, especially once traffic increases in this forum. For those who are the guild leaders and my liaisons, perhaps a slight spin, such as "Guild Relations Liaison" If you have better suggestions for the second title, (I'm very happy with the first), please provide it here.

Suggestions are welcome from the entire community.

Done and done... with correct spelling of Liaison. ;)

Alright, now you're on my bad list.... :P

Q u o t e:
(Quick question -- on the Nexus website it shows a little screenshot of the guild's forum. Will this change as the guilds front page changes? BRL's looks silly since the post was about a new mod. -wince- Can it be updated to show the newest picture?)

We will talk about this offline.

Like the other things you're doing - finally actually trying to fix some of the class and spec imbalances, for example - this is definitelly a step in the right direction. Please forgive me if I cynically assume that the reason these things are finally happening is because Blizzard has marching orders to do something about the slide in subscriptions.

People often make the mistake of thinking of Blizzard as some entity, and all changes and decisions are made by some overmind. I began working on this program a very long time ago, creating it because I wanted to give more to the community. Also, I'm not going to get into the discussion because this is neither the time nor the place, but we're doing quite well, friend. :)

Q u o t e:
I notice that the four out of five guilds I recognize in the program are large, friendly guilds. That's great as far as it goes, and I think you've made good choices.

There is more than meets the eye to these guilds, I'll leave it up to you to investigate further. Also, there are three other guilds who have been chosen, but have not accepted. Additional expansion regardless of this is inevitable.

Good feedback, thanks for being constructive in areas that concerned you. That goes a very long way with me.

No need to get defensive. I know you personally were working on this program since about the time the forum was created. It's just the timing of its actually coming into existence, along with the timing of many other things, seems more than just chance. As for any "overmind", it's no secret that Blizzard is owned by Vivendi and gets pressure from Vivendi about things at times.
))

Well, I'm not going to comment on the last part for what's probably obvious reasons. I will say this, you'd be surprised.

As far as getting defensive. I'm sorry if I came off that way. I certainly wasn't feeling defensive, nor intending to be defensive. Text can be a poor medium for communication, and over the last three years of working on the community team I've noticed that it's somehow easier for Blizzard employees to appear defensive. In short, my goal was honestly to indicate that a person who has a love for this game, this company and particularly the community created this program, not some Blizzard force with ulterior motives. :)

Q u o t e:
Can Guild officers with the permission of their leader play the Guild Liaison? Just in case they can't get to the forums at the moment.

Guild Relation Members who act as liaisons are those who I'm in direct contact with via email. It's important, especially as we expand that I have only one liaison per guild at a time.
