Since the other issue in HFP seems to be fixed if you are still getting errors near the falcon watch road on the way to zangar post here.

i was running through hellfire and now after trying everything everyone else has tried and i am able to logg onto other characters shes stuck. i cannot move her or anything. My other character on the same server is fine.

i think it has something to do with this model?
/Volumes/F2/usrbuild/xb/build/WoW_8788patch3.0.1-beta5/WoW/Source/Mac
/../../../Engine/Source/Model2/M2DataInit.inl

its the same error over and over again!

Error received:

Evening Thedarkraven,

Can you post your computer specs ? Just sounds odd that the computer is crashing this much, maybe it was a bad download of the game.

Just to get it out of the way, try the following two procedures:

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Please use the steps below to repair file permission settings
on the hard drive you have installed World of Warcraft.

1.) click on the Finder icon in the Dock
2.) open the Applications folder
3.) open the Utilities folder
4.) double click on the Disk Utility application icon
5.) select the hard drive the game is installed on
6.) select the First Aid option
7.) click on the Repair Disk Permissions button

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Repair Directory Procedure:

1. (re)start the computer
2. right after the computer starts press Cmd(Apple)+s until you get a black screen with white type
3. let go of the keys when this screen comes up
4. at the cursor please type the following: fsck -f -y and press return
5. please be aware that some of the procedures will look like they are frozen,
but are actually taking a long time i.e checking hierarchy
6. if anything had to be repaired, repeat step 4
7. once things are repaired type exit and press return
8. computer will boot into Mac OS

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Test the game once more.

Evening Thedarkraven,

I'm still trying to figure this out, sorry for the late reply. By the way do you have all the graphics settings down to the lowest setting ? I'm trying to figure out if it's just a new graphics requirement, since this bloody iMac I have here at work won't crash no matter what I try to do to it. Also, just to get it out of the way, can you post your trace route to the realm you are on...

1. log into the game
2. put it in window mode Command + M
3. go to Mac HD=>Applications=>Utilities=>Terminal
4. at cursor type netstat -n
5. look for the first Foreign Address that contains .3724
6. type traceroute ( IP address that appears before the .3724) > ~/Desktop/tracert.txt and press the Return key. A file will be created on your Desktop called tracert.txt that contains your trace route information
7. quit the Terminal application, open the file created and copy/paste the text to your reply

You're not using any 3rd party AddOns are you ? Just making sure.
Let me know how I'm doing...

Evening Aminai,

Do you mean the ones with the Giants around them ? Just tried to go there but got ganked 5 times, have lowbies all over so I don't waste time traveling. Finally got there and didn't get any errors, of course that's my curse, everything works fine on this iMac.

Evening Aminai,

I finally got it to crash, and you were right, I had to ride closer to the crystals, I know I got ganked again, and once I got closer to them I totally crashed, so sad that I get excited by this. Anyway now I logged in again and got the crash a few more times, eventually getting to the point where I can't log in. So asking GM's to move the character. I'm going to send this up, and also ask a PC Beta user to test this out and see if the PC side gets a crash. Thanks for the specific info. I totally appreciate it.
Let me know how I'm doing...
