Stirring up trouble in random dungeons.
by Tinkerballaa | 26/04/2010 20:43:36![]() I have a question. Is it bannable to grief your dungeon members in the Random Dungeon queue? Just note that I'm not a total acidhole, and I help out my other fellow players when needed. I only pulled aggros ONCE, but only because people have treated me like crap. Fight over the dumbest things, blame me for something the other player did. ---- By Griefing(if I have the term right) I pull 30 aggros on purpose, sick them on the priest. The Healer dies, team wipes, and revenge complete. ---- But I've heard on the forums somewhere that it's bannable. I actually didn't believe it for a moment, but I'm just here to check. Well, is it? Actually, we recently posted a new article elaborating on this subject here: What is Blizzard Entertainment's stance on "ninja looting" within the World of Warcraft? http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/17761 As the others have stated, griefing of any sort can potentially run one afoul of our policies, and if you are contemplating actions which are calculated to ruin others' fun, then it might be a good time to consider a different course. On the other hand, it sounds like you've had some pretty rough experiences. Sometimes that is intentional on the part of another player, and in a case like that, you can use the cross realm ignore feature (by typing /ignore playername - realmname) to avoid being grouped with that player again. Some of these conflicts might be caused by players who aren't as familiar with their class, or are still learning how to group effectively. If you are in a position to provide advice, then you may be surprised at how receptive other players are to constructive feedback, if delivered politely and respectfully.
