I couldn't post on the SCII tech support fourms so I posted it here.

I got a beta key the other day and started downloading the beta at my house. About halfway though the download i had to go back to school(I live in a dorm and use dorm internet). When i opened the downloader to finish the download I recieved this error message.

There was a problem authenticating your download. Please go to http://www.blizzard.com/account/ to start a new download.

I tried re-downloading the downloder and deleting the folder but still recieved the same error. I then assumed that it was my connection(I normally don't have any issues with the blizzard downloader with WoW patches, etc.) I tried to download it on 3 different internet connections off of my schools campus and still recieved the same error.

Did you stop the download though the Blizzard Downloader or just put the computer to sleep ?

If you let the Blizzard Downloader stop and handshake off it will restart the installer at the point you stopped it, but if you just quit out of it or put the computer to sleep the installer is now corrupted and will need to be re-downloaded.
