Jayde

I would like to start a thread in order to collect feedback from players.

As you all know we are currently playing with no addons. Many of you must have noticed or felt the difference and felt that you were missing things if you played with addons on live.

Depending on class and the type of play you most participate in (pvp or pve) please join me in listing your wishes to have a complete and nice default UI. This might be taken into consideration or not but could serve as a basis for the UI further enhancements.

Unit Frames:
These are the most important things in the interface. The current unitframe player and target have few things that need enhancing:

-Ability to move the playern target and target of target frame anywhere on the screen and lock them in place.
-Ability to resize the above frames.
-Ability to show the class of the target
-Ability to show customize the unitframe data: total HP of target, % HP of target etc...
-Ability to show the lost of HP in different gradient: full life = green , mid life = Yellow, low life = Red

For raid unitframe. Ability to show show debuffs on targets and customize debuff shown

Bars:
-ability to remove the gryphon art on the sides
-ability to add an extra two horizontal bars
-ability to hide not needed elements of the current Bars

Debuffs and Procs:
-A customizable debuff/Dot timer that monitors the players own debuffs/Dots and displays them as icons or bars that can be dragged and locked anywhere on the screen
-A customizable proc monitor that shows procs and the proc timer as an icon (faded or not) that can be displayed as an icon and locked anywhere on the screen

Tooltips:

-Ability to customize tooltips and have on mouse tooltips.
-Ability to disable tooltips in combat.

Scrolling combat text:
-Ability to move around the area where combat text is displayed.
-Ability to add procs to scrolling combat text as faded spells icons with text.

Q u o t e:
I and other players are not really interested in macros.

The idea is to have something for the average joe player that only require meddling with options with no lua or macros.
Having played with addons for so long, it was actually quite interesting to see how well the default UI has progressed since its initial inception; though I too am a great fan of macros. But hearing your feedback on how we could consider changing the UI further, is certainly useful.
