Spirit Link
by Lisana | 19/07/2008 01:55:30 Since my shaman is my raid healing class, I'd like to start the discussion on Spirit Link (51-point resto shaman talent): "you link the friendly target with up to 2 nearby friendly targets, causing 50% of any damage taken to be distributed to the linked targets. If any target takes a blow greater than 30% of their health, or the shared damage would reduce the target's health below 20%, the link is broken. You can only have one link active at any time." I'm sure this will have some uses for PvP/arena (spreading around damage to chain heal, breaking CC abilities, etc). I'm still concerned about the PvE usefulness of this ability, now that we know that it won't link to enemy targets. Live: 70 druid, 70 shaman Doomkin: Now with more DOOM! |
by Koraa | 20/07/2008 21:02:24 The ability has a few bugs right now (and it doesn't have the proper graphic either). The design on the ability may also be changed, we do want Spirit Link to be viable in as many aspects of the game as possible. Class Designer |
