Spamming...maybe a virus spreader?

I was playing wow yesterday then i got a whisper from "wowgift" i thought this seemed real enough *pretty stupid* and went onto the site, then got a warning that this site might possibly harm my computer... i don't know what it was but it caught me off guard..
