Soulbound currency transfers?
by Snolata | 05/09/2008 03:01:35 I discussed this with a GM last night and I was hoping by posting here i could get a more specific answer to my question. First my original request to the GM was to have the Badges of Justice on my Shaman transferred to my Hunter. My reasoning for this was simple. My main character is this one however, because of the fact that I have a restoration shaman and my guild some times comes up short on healing I find myself playing the healing role on many occasions. This has set me behind a bit on getting badges for various items. Now When I opened this ticket I knew very well that the GM would most likely not be able to do so. After waiting for a relatively short period of time. I talked to a GM and received the answer I was expecting. At this time I asked the reason behind the rule of not allowing this type of currency to be transferred between characters. I understand why it is not allowed between players but it seems to me that it is a form of currency that should be available to my whole account not simply one character. Well the response I got from the GM was something to the affect of, because it is soulbound, my Duh alarm went off at this point but I remained as polite as possible. When I tried to push the point a little further the GM said it simply could not be done and I left it at that. So I said all that to ask this; What is the reasoning to not allow this type of Currency to be transferred between characters?
