S.O's account hacked..just wanting feedback
by Ipanema | 05/03/2010 13:57:41![]() Hi all, My boyfriends account got hacked and yes he contacted blizz. But just was curious, if anyone knows or has ideas. what the likely result will be. Two of his characters got transferred off his account or deleted. On the non deleted/transferred 80, all of his gear got vended. They actually ADDED an authenticator. SO we can't log on to do much except forum stuff. Do you guys think he will get the two other 80s that got transferred back? Restored? Anything? Thanks. |

Far better to CALL Billing with an authenticator added. Also, did he find the security breach? Trust me, if it's still there they WILL return. The information below is what he'll need to know. ---------------- If an account has been merged to a Battle.net, or if an email has been changed, or an authenticator added to the account (not the player's own) one of your first stops is going to be Billing. They need to get those sorted out first so the rest of the processes can continue. If they CAN get back in, they WILL be back. That, unfortunately, you can count on. These two stickies should prove helpful. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will help keep them out of your WoW account.
