Someone is camping a dungeon

Whydrood

<< Removed >> on << removed >> is currently camping a spot staying in combat outside of the dungeon (and abusing this system). He wont tank and we cannot kick him. How is this going to be resolved during 3.3.3? I opened a ticket but the wait times....yeah.

You pull it, you tank it.

Q u o t e:
Open a GM ticket and report the player.

Q u o t e:
In addition to reporting the player so Blizzard can investigate, make sure to make use of the cross-realm ignore to avoid ever being grouped with him again.

/ignore playername-realmname

Excellent advice, on both accounts!

I do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you or your group, Whydrood. You're welcome to open a petition reporting the non-participation. Include the character's name, realm, and a brief description of what's occurred within, and a Game Master will happy to look into the matter further.

In the meantime, you and your remaining group members may want to consider placing this player on ignore. You can do this in several ways:

  • Right-click the character's name next to a line of chat and select the "Ignore" option
  • Type "/ignore playername-playerrealm" into your chat window
  • Open up your Ignore list, click "Ignore," and then type in the character's name and realm

The Dungeon Finder will not place this player into a group if another group member has him or her on ignore. While this will not correct this player's current behavior, it will help prevent unwanted interaction in the future.

Good luck, Whydrood. If there's anything else I can help you with, please let me know.
