So Blizzard any luck on the Assertion Error ?

I'm enjoying Northrend on my other toon, but I would really love to play my Deathknight. I have read all of the posts regarding how others and how Blizzard suggests to fix this issue...however nothing is working. I have 3 DK and I cant play any of them. Just wondering if the developers are trying to figure out the problem here.

One of the Blue posts stated that it seems like all the issues are happening on non Intel machines. Well that is not the case here. I have a Core 2 Duo Intel Mac Book Pro. Like I said earlier, I'm enjoying the Northrend content, but I would really enjoy playing my Deathknight. I truly hope that the developers are hard at work trying to resolve this inconvenience for the Macintosh community.

The biggest issue I've seen so far, me included, is any DK (frozen spec) that buffs his/her sword before they log off, cant log back on. So a GM will reset the DK and place them somewhere safe and without the buff. Try the following...

You'll need to open a GM ( Game Master ) ticket.

Log into any other character that is working or create a new one, and, while in the game...

1. click on the red ? (Help Request) button
2. click on the Talk to a GM button
3. click on the Open Ticket button

In the "Describe Your Issue:" section:

Type:

Realm Name: the name of your realm
Character Name: the name of your character
Issue: your issue ( example. this is the only character that will not load, please reset by moving slightly from present position )

Trust me, the developers are aware of this, too many people with this issue. I know they are working on a new patch and it should be out in a few days. Do me a favor and open another GM ticket and ask the GM to move the toon to a city nearby to reset the character. let them know that I, a Mac Tech support rep asked you do ask them to do this, since I'm trying to find something out. You can use my name: Radoslawn, just please be polite don't want them to hunt me down, they are a powerful group.
