So AV's supposed to be dead now right?

I just played a few games to test it out and the honor rate seems exactly the same, that and the fun factor went way up IMO.

All games lasted around 15-20 minutes losing team had around 300+ bonus honor wining team 400+.

My favorite part is that there is no reason for alliance to turtle like mofo's anymore either..

Seems to be more balanced than the last version,.

It's not totally uncommon for a negative reaction to something to continue to perpetuate itself even after we've made changes that would address the initial negative reaction. Bad news seems to spread fast, it's like blood to a vampire. Good news is almost impossible to get people to pay attention to, it's not engaging to be thankful or happy for some reason. In any case we continued to make changes to the honor gains in AV to get it as close to what it was before, and I think it's pretty close. There's definitely more emphasis on participation, killing dewds, and winning. Imagine that. :)

Q u o t e:

I'd say the good news of the disappearance of the hunter dead zone spread pretty quick, as did the news of the changes in the mana regen talents of both the priests and druids. (I don't think the mages stopped QQing long enough to see that theirs changed.)

Did it spread because it was good news, or did it spread because people were outraged those changes were being made to other classes? :)

I don't mean it's always a rule that good news can't spread and be recognized on a large scale, it's just the nature of why people are interested in something and how loud they are about it.
