I've been following the details about Shadowmourne since its announcement at Blizzcon. With the recent quests revealed on the PTR and on MMO-Champion concerning the weapon, I had a few questions to ask. Also keep in mind that I know this is the PTR so things are subject to change at any point.

Anyway, in the quest "The Sacred and the Corrupt" you are suppose to get Arthas's hammer "Light's Vengeance" along with the "Acidic Blood" from both "Rotface" and "Festergut" along with 25 Primordial Saronite. Question concerning this quest is how do we come by getting Primordial Saronite? It is a Icecrowns version of Frozen/Runed/Crusader Orbs? Or is it a new smelting plan for miners.

My second question is about the quest "The Splintered Throne" which involves you collecting 45 Shadowfrost Shards which are held only by the Lich King's most powerful servants. My question is, are these Shadowfrost Shards anything like the Fragment of Val'anyr in Ulduar that drop randomly off the bosses, or will these Shadowfrost Shards only drop for those at that point in the quest.
