Severe Crashing - Shapeshifting?

Ethyl

I'm assuming this is a Mac only issue. When I go in seal form next to the first argent crusade place near the Calderra and jump off the side, play around in the water, I experience almost consistent and constant crashes by jumping in and out of the water while in seal form as well as shifting in and out of seal form. On land, I don't have this problem (obviously).

Thanks! Anyone else with this issue?

Evening Ethyl,

Do me a favor and post your trace route to the realm...

1. log into the game
2. put it in window mode Command + M
3. go to Mac HD=>Applications=>Utilities=>Terminal
4. at cursor type netstat -n
5. look for the first Foreign Address that contains .3724
6. type traceroute ( IP address that appears before the .3724) > ~/Desktop/tracert.txt and press the Return key. A file will be created on your Desktop called tracert.txt that contains your trace route information
7. quit the Terminal application, open the file created and copy/paste the text to your reply
Let me know how I'm doing...

Evening Ethyl,

So was the rest of the trace route a bunch of *'s ?

Are you using a router ? Looks like it, if so Hop 1 = connection between your computer and your router
Hop 2 = connection between your router and modem, which is failing. Hence the *'s Whenever your testing a connection and the time to get data back and forth takes too long it times out, putting in the *'s to mark that, so something is going on between your router and modem. Do me a favor and power cycle them...

Power-Cycling Procedure:
1. turn off your modem and router (if using one) - pull the power cords
2. wait 30 seconds
3. turn on your modem - put the power cord back in
4. wait 1 minute
5. turn on the router (if using one) - put the power cord back in
6. wait 1 minute
7. (re)start the computer
8. test World of Warcraft

The error log is due to a miscommunication between your computer and the realm again going back to a bad connection.
