Instead I have to logout and log back in to be able to change realms - which works immediately. Likewise disconnects while playing WoW - I can always log back in immediately. It's like WoW just gives up.

Since each time you change realms the information is changed and saved to the Config.wtf file in the WTF Æ’older, that file is either corrupted or the permissions are not set up correctly, so try resetting the permissions first...

1. Select the World of Warcraft folder
2. press Command + i
3. in the World of Warcraft Info box, go to the Sharing & Permissions section
4. click on the lock and unlock it
5. make sure you have Read & Write permissions
6. click on the Burst icon ( cog wheel ) and select Apply to enclosed items**

** If using Mac OS 10.4.11, just click on the Apply to Enclosed items button.

If that doesn't help, then go ahead and delete the WTF Æ’older with the Config.wtf file inside it, then start up WoW to create a new WTF Æ’older and new Config.wtf filde.
