Reporting Cataclysm Network "Scam"?
by Vanced | 10/07/2010 19:10:22![]() I want to phone/email blizzard to report this in. Long story semi-short i stumbled upon an assumed "team/group/pair" that sell LEGIT Cataclysm Beta invites. They have someone who offers the main service/takes the money, and then i assume there's another guy(s) behind the scenes actually doing the "work". The idea of their plot is to get someone to pay a medium sum in exchange for being up on the Beta Invite list. Then, the next time invites go out, that person who paid receives an invite. The people can apparently control what list the person goes on and know when that person will receive an invite. Proof- Two of my friends tried the service. One signed up friday, earlier today. The on that signed up friday received an invite around 4 AM today. The one that signed earlier today was told his invites would be sent to his BNETs on Tuesday. Are these not days when Beta invites went out? And Lylirra (spellcheck) already confirmed invites would be going out early next week, and tuesday is certainly early next week. What do i do in this situation? Thread of compiled Beta information- http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=256 |
