Who are they ? Are they players given special privellages ?
I'm curious on who GM's are. Don't know if they are paid staff or people given privellages.
Also whats your thoughts on the Reporting a player.
Ive been playing for quite sometime and never been reported or done anything bad intentionally... until now apparently lol I know i was pretty cheese off when I was advertising in trade channel to buy some Ore and then someone pst me with a price, I said no thx thats way overpices on his offer and then he said it's cheaper then AH which it was buy 1g per stack but all the ones in AH were also over priced and for weeks now they all expire due too them being listed too high which I explained to this person through pst. He responded back basically trying to land a sale and I told him im not interested and his price are a joke. Next response was "Enjoy your account being banned" <-- for what purpose I have noidea so I I replied with "I dont give a sh*t i'm NOT interested" because I couldnt see how or why my account would be banned as I didnt abuse him and didnt accepted his offer. Put him on ignore and.. 5 minutes later a GM pst's me telling me to make sure my email address is correct and that I have violated blizzards TOS etc.. WTF?!?!?!!?
I check my email and in it my exact line is quoted "I dont give a sh*T i'm NOT interested"
I mean seriously what a load of crap. Yes Yes the rules, TOS etc state all that jargon and red tape, loop hole junk, but honestly that is bloody ridiculous.
I could sit all day long in trade 2 if I cared too and report nearly every single player for using the word sh*T or worse then that. I can understand some reports, but I think their system is stupid in someways and is easily manipulated and abused.
So I'm wondering if the GM's are players with privellages or what.
I found it a little odd that fairly quickly a GM pst's me too check my email when normally lodging a ticket and for it to be actioned usually takes a very long time.
Ok I got a warning thats fine, but how many warnings before an account is suspended or whatever ? I can just see some people manipulating this system of reports.
There is a swear filter in place as far as I am concerned if someone is offended by such a word then they should use the damn swear filter and yes I read somewhere under blizzards TOS that using the swear filter is optionly and does not give person the right to swear etc relying on the fact that someone has a swear filter enabled if they dislike such words.
And those damn intro's are annoying when a GM pst you. Makes me annoyed lol
Whn you open a ticket to report a player is it upto the GM if he can be bothered to action it further too take action on aplayer report ?
