Removing advertising in-game

PROBLEM:
We are all quite fed up and disgusted with the constant spam of gold and power-leveling services on the servers. On The venture Co. it is quite literally every 5 minutes, and oftentimes several of these trolls (no insult intended to our Darkspear brethren) at once.
The current excuse is, "It's hard to catch these people because they use the free trial accounts."

SOLUTION:
Get rid of the free trial accounts.
WoW has 5 million customers - it's safe to assume word of mouth is now your best advertising.

PLAN B:
If you can't beat em, join em. Offer your own commericals - perhaps break into a raid in progress to spam your latest patch info, or the current holidays.
Then after people start quitting WoW in droves. you'll begin to catch a clue that players are disgusted with this, want to see positive action taken, and want it done sooner not later.

Apologies in advance to all the trolls that will defend the gold and power-leveling services I just ticked off.

I'll repost here what Drysc already posted and you were linked to-

Q u o t e:
If you right click on the person's name in the chat window there will be a selection in the dropdown titled "Report Spam", this does a couple things. First it ignores any whispers, text, and mail from that user's account for your current session. Second it reports that user to our support department for spam, and they will investigate further and taken any action that's needed.

Please note that the Report Spam feature should ONLY be used to report spam, using it to report other types of harassment may result in your report failing to be processed properly. Please open a normal ticket for all non-spam related incidents.

Also, as of 2.1 trial accounts can no longer whisper others unless they have been whispered by that player first, or they are on that player's friends list. We obviously didn't want this information known before the patch was released.

Reporting these advertisers is now quick and painless and will help us to track them down and take care of them.
