Itemization is better, which produces more uniform results *and* players understand *why* a hunter might take leather shoulders (as my hunter did in Kara) that would be ideal for a rogue. It's not that it doesn't kind of suck to be the priest who wanted a cloth bracer that a pally took, but we now have a deeper understanding of *why* the pally took it (and the general expectation that the pally won't have to quite as often), and why that makes sense.
It may have decreased, but I still see players get into big fights over pieces like the DPS-cloth dungeon set. So I don't think it's completely gone. |
