by Drazrael | 03/05/2010 18:41:42![]() Myself and Rainofterror on Misha should be connected. I contacted the blizzard billing department at 1-800-592-5499. He connected us, he said. We still aren't connected and I don't feel like being on hold for another hour+. Rainofterror said he can't get mail or join my guild either. I tried trading with him and it says he's still in the trial account even though he paid for the upgrade and installed it. |

I'm showing your accounts as linked in our records, Drazrael, so that's good! Are you two just not receiving triple experience right now? Is that why you believe you're not linked? Remember, the following rules apply for triple experience:
Rule 2) Mobs killed and quests completed cannot be marked either "Low Level" or gray in difficulty for either the veteran or the recruit character. Rule 3) Should one character be more than 4 levels higher than the other, only the lower level character will receive the experience boost. Rule 2 still applies. Did Rainofterror upgrade online? If so, what he's experiencing is normal. When an account is upgraded digitally, level and profession skill caps will be removed immediately, but some temporary trial restrictions will remain in place until payment is finalized. These restrictions include, but are not limited to:
- In-Game public chat channels will be unavailable. (Players will still be able to communicate using say, party, or whispers). - Characters will be unable to create or join existing guilds. These temporary trial restrictions should dissipate within 72 hours of the digital upgrade. They may dissipate sooner, but that depends on how quickly your friend's financial institution can finalize the provided payment. :) BY FIRE BE SECURED! It’s never “too soon” to protect your account. It won't be a star, but it will be a little Arcane Torrent symbol (blue bursty looking thing). You can also try joining a party with him and then right-clicking on his character's portrait. A drop-down menu should appear that lists the option to "Summon Friend." Is that available to you? BY FIRE BE SECURED! It’s never “too soon” to protect your account. by Syndri | 03/05/2010 20:11:10![]() Drazrael, can I have both you and your friend log out of your accounts for a bit? Let me know once you're both logged out. :) BY FIRE BE SECURED! by Syndri | 03/05/2010 20:38:38![]() Drazrael, I'm not sure if you're still reading along, but I've tried one possible solution and I'd like for you to test to see if it worked. I'll need for you and your friend to completely exit the game client and then relog. BY FIRE BE SECURED! It’s never “too soon” to protect your account. Hm. Your accounts appear to be appropriately linked and didn't need to be linked manually by a Billing representative. What character are you using to level with Sacajewea, Shivalry?
