Recently Hacked, Authenticator Added
by Flonnè | 31/05/2010 11:11:36![]() Having not played since November this came as quite a shock, but a friend informed me today that my account had appeared to be hacked. I've already changed my password and everything so my question is what information Blizz needs if any to get the authenticator removed. My friend was telling me I would need to send a fax with a copy of my ID. Is this still necessary? Fortunately I know how it got hacked, a friend logged into my account (somehow guessed my password) and apparently he had a keylogger (got hacked as well, serves him right) Kettle chips, the perfect side dish....for revenge! |

I'd start with a call to Billing on this. If they can successfully confirm your identity on the phone this is simplest. They may request more documentation if that cannot be done, but they can tell you what is needed if that becomes necessary.
