Listed below are recent fixes we have applied to the game. Keep in mind that some of these changes may not be active until after the realm has been restarted.

  • The hard mode of the Mimiron encounter has received the following changes: the damage of the flames has been reduced, the damage/health gained from the Emergency Buff has been slightly reduced, the range of the Emergency Fire Bot’s Deafening Siren ability has been reduced in heroic difficulty and this ability is no longer cast in normal difficulty, the damage of Heat Wave in phase 2 has been reduced, and the damage from Plasma Blast in phase 1 has been reduced.

  • The tentacle creatures and floating skulls in Yogg Saron’s brain rooms should now load faster.
  • The following items have had their stats increased to properly reflect their item level: Earthshaper, Valorous Siegebreaker Shoulderplates, and Conqueror’s Siegebreaker Shoulderplates.
  • The Leviathan’s Coil ring has had its armor reduced from 882 to 448 to properly reflect the item level.

  • Runic Power costs will no longer be lowered by abilities intended to lower mana costs.
  • The Leviathan MK II’s Self Repair will no longer be canceled when VX-001 casts Spinning Up.

  • Commanding Shout and Battle Shout are again free to use during the preparation period of battlegrounds and arenas.
  • To resolve an exploit we have removed all non-boss chests from dungeons introduced in The Burning Crusade: Ramparts, Blood Furnance, Shattered Halls, Steam Vault, Underbog, Slave Pens, Arcatraz, Botanica, Mechanaar, Shadow Labyrinth, Sethekk Halls, Mana-Tombs, and Auchenai Crypts.

  • We’ve made some adjustments to the siege engine and demolisher in the flame leviathan encounter in order to make them more effective.
  • The tower of life’s adds have had their health reduced.
  • The Ancient Water Spirit in the Freya encounter should now be vulnerable to interrupt effects.
  • Life Sparks will no longer chain their Shock spell.

  • When immune to the stun of following abilities, Maim, Bash, and Hammer of Justice will no longer cause player spells to be interrupted but they will still interrupt NPCs. Also, when these abilities do stun a player target, they will not perform an interrupt effect and lock out the affected magic school.
  • The Retribution Paladin talent Vindication no longer reduces the targets stamina or intellect but does correctly lower agility, spirit, and strength as mentioned: Vindication Talent Change http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=17631617432

As an example, if a Mage is channeling Arcane Missiles and is hit by Hammer of Justice, Blink will now be available as the Arcane school will not be locked out as it was before.

  • The Yogg-Saron encounter has received the following changes: Death Ray no longer hits players who are under the effect of Malady of the Mind, Guardians of Yogg-Saron no longer use Dominate Mind, the spawn rate of Guardians of Yogg-Saron is more forgiving, and these Guardians will no longer spawn if a player that is protected by Hodir’s Flash Freeze hits an Ominous Cloud.
  • In the opening sequence of Ulduar you can now see Liquid Pyrite from farther away.
  • The Flame Leviathan encounter has received the following changes: the bonus health Flame Leviathan receives per tower has been reduced, the ejection height from Flame Leviathan has been reduced, the snare effect of the Tower of Frost has been removed, and the cannons on Demolishers and Siege Enginers should now break Flash Frozen vehicles in 1 shot.
  • The XT-002 Deconstructor encounter has received the following changes: the health of the heart has been slightly reduced in heroic difficulty and the rate at which Gravity Lapse and Searing Light are cast has been reduced.

  • The additional healing Freya receives, through the Attuned to Nature buff, has been increased.
  • Focused Anger, on Yogg-Saron’s Crusher tentacles, will no longer result from pet attacks.
  • Pyrite will now disappear after 3 minutes instead of 1 minute.

  • Once the Yogg-Saron encounter is started players outside of Yogg-Saron's area will begin to go insane, after 15 seconds.

  • We are in the process of applying an in-game fix that will restart all of the quests associated with the Midsummer Fire Festival event and allow players to complete them once again. If you are in the process of completing an achievement such as Extinguishing Kalimdor, this fix will reset your progress and you will need start over. This fix will require realms to be restarted.
