I received the following error while trying to install WOTLK;
The patch "base\signaturefile" could not be applied.

I have already tried re-installing the application several times with no success. Any ideas??

Try the following unless you are using some 3rd party security programs on your Mac, then uninstall those and try patching again:

Please use the steps below to repair file permission settings
on the hard drive you have installed World of Warcraft.

1.) click on the Finder icon in the Dock
2.) open the Applications folder
3.) open the Utilities folder
4.) double click on the Disk Utility application icon
5.) select the hard drive the game is installed on
6.) select the First Aid option
7.) click on the Repair Disk Permissions button

If anything had to be repaired, run the repair again to make sure everything was repaired the first time around.

Basically something is blocking the tracker from contacting us. This can also happen if you are at a school that blocks bit torrent technology.
