Raz the Crazed
by Kheldar | 18/05/2010 10:10:11![]() I felt this needed a new topic. If you haven't been to BRC since the patch, there's this dire troll (or dire goblin maybe) who jumps out of this pit after you kill the first boss, and wipes out a third of the trash in the instance for you. Basically, the trash after the first boss up until the second boss's room, the evolved dragonspawn on the bridge leading to the third boss, and all the twilight dudes surrounding the fifth boss. Personally? Having Raz eliminate all of the effective trash in the instance reduced the time I spent in there by a great deal, and it was goddamn awesome to see this dude decimate some Twilights. I thought it was a great way to make a dungeon feel big without making it too sluggish to get through. On the other hand, I can see some people complaining that all this does is make the instance even shorter than it already is, cheapening the experience of the whole thing and making Cataclysm dungeons more into what dungeons are in Wrath as opposed to what they were in Vanilla. So! Bearing that in mind, do you like what Bliz did with Raz? Or is it a tacky cop-out? ~Frodo |
