Raid Stealing on Emerald Dream

This has been reported by many people over the last day, but the slow GM response time and complete lack of action has forced me to take additional steps.

The situation: The guild <Maximum Prestige> managed to "buy off" a saved point in our guild <Absolute>'s Hyjal raid. This trade was not authorized by the other 24 members of our guild. We intercepted their efforts in trying to steal the final boss kill, Archimonde (if you are familiar with the fight any deaths in the raid can easily cause a wipe). After giving up on trying to take the kill for the moment, they left members to "camp" the boss and grief any attempts we make at the kill. Now, they've traded the saved point again with another guild <Relax> that tried to make more attempts.

This is completely unacceptable. I know similar kinds of raid stealing have been immediate cause for permanent ban in the past. If you're not going to ban the griefers at least remove them from our raid so we can kill our boss that we spent 4 hours reaching the day before.

I was sincere and patient with the in-game GM's. Now I am getting severely annoyed at Blizzard's lack of action. I plead that someone from Customer Service look into this immediately and assist us.

I have to chip in with Kumata here and say that generally the circumstances that would facilitate us taking action involve acquiring a raid ID via deception.

It just doesn't look like there was any deception here. The ID was willingly surrendered by a member of your raid.

Has your raid leader submitted a ticket? If so, what is their name?

Ah, good to see that the ticket was escalated. Would you check in with me as to the results of the escalation when you hear about 'em?

Q u o t e:

Will try. I asked in guild chat but no one online seems to know anything about it.

Quite all right; escalations can take some time. The fact that it was escalated is good news in itself. :)
