RAF question

Hi,

I apologize if this has been covered before. I did look at the sticky and didn't find the answer to my question.

Here it is:

I am doing the RAF program for my son. I set up a BNet account for him (with his own email address) but with my personal information. I sent him the RAF email and applied that key to his BNet account. The two things I am wondering about are:

1) Does the online upgrade for $19.99 cover the "retail upgrade" required for this process? Will I have to purchase a physical game if I do the online upgrade?

2) Can I merge his game account with my BNet account so that everything is under one account? (He is a minor). I already made him a BNet account to get this going but I would prefer to have everything under mine. But by merging the two accounts (Bnet) will he still have his own log in (I definitely don't want to share mine)

My plan is to upgrade his account online and add a pre-paid game card to his account. Will this work and will it qualify me for the RAF benifits including the mount?

Thank you

1a) If you purchase a direct online upgrade, your son's trial account will upgraded to a full, retail client of World of Warcraft. The $19.99 price tag will cover that upgrade completely. Each expansion, however, will be a separate purchase.

1b) If you purchase the digital upgrade, you will not need to purchase an equivalent physical copy of the game for your son.

2a) Absolutely. You are more than welcome to create (or merge) your son's WoW account under your Batle.net account. In fact, this may be preferred, as he is a minor. If you wish to keep your Battle.net accounts separate, though, please ensure that your son's Battle.net account is still registered in your name.

2b) If your son's account is merged with your Battle.net account, he will need to use your Battle.net account and password to login. After this initial log in is complete, your son will be able to select his WoW account from a list of merged accounts. You would do the same when logging, but would instead select your WoW account from the list.

Yes, and yes. :)
