RAF code was never asked for...

So I sent my brother a RAF code, and he created his account and everything. When he finished creating his battle.net account, he was sent to a page that that said "Click here to continue adding WoW trial". And that's where we are now.

I'm thinking it was probably done automatically, since our accounts are linked (or at least, that what mine shows). However, the email did say:

"IMPORTANT: You must use this key to receive Recruit-a-Friend benefits!
If you start a Free Trial without this key, or activate a full product without first starting a free trial with this key, you and <my name> will not receive any of the leveling bonuses and other perks of the Recruit-a-Friend promotion listed below."

So I'm a little worried because the email did point out it was important. According to my brother though, he went straight to the "click here" page, and not to a page where he could add the game first.

So, as long as our accounts are linked, will that get us RAF rewards? Or is it a 'different' kind of link since he never got the chance to input the code?

If your accounts are actually linked and you are both properly receiving the benefits, then all should be well. I can see that one was established today, as a matter of fact.

For the record, there's only one 'kind' of Recruit A Friend link =).
