Mooncow

Radoslawn,

I was just reading a thread found here:

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=23392929338&sid=1&pageNo=1

Depicting another Mac user's account (Eve) being compromised. A few months ago the same happened to me. I was not a victim of a phishing scam, nor have I visited any untrustworthy websites. I have reviewed the post you made a while back and I have complied with every effort to maintain my accounts safety. Prior to today I simply shrugged it off, however I am becoming increasingly curious.

I was wondering if I provided you with the date and time (or window) when it occurred, you would be able to investigate and see if my account was also logged on from an international location. I have a few reasons I am asking this which I could discuss with you via Email if you would be so willing.

I'm sure Blizzard logs locations from which accounts are accessed, but does it store them for x amount of time? If so, would this information be difficult for someone to access?

My account has been restored, email and pw both changed and I have had no problems since, I also have an Iphone so I'll be adding an authenticator today. A friend of mine was unfortunately hacked a few days ago which led me to these forums to do some reading on the subject.

I realize you're busy, any help you may provide would be very much appreciated.

Thank you

Hello Mooncow,

Do me a favor and email me at macsupport@blizzard.com with Attn: Radoslawn in the subject line, and also mention your screen name, right now I'm swamped with emails and 3 forums, but I will get to your account and see what I can find out.
