Question about RP Policy and OOC Chatting.

Probably noob questions, but I am a noob to RP Rules, and wanted to know the following:

1. You can talk OOC in Battlegrounds and Arenas, even if its in /say, /yell, or /party, correct? I'm assuming this is right because not everyone in the Arena or BG will be from the same server, and it may not be a RP Type server.

2. You can talk OOC in /whisper, /guild, /trade, and /general (assuming General is game-related), correct?

Thank You!

1. Yes, that's perfectly acceptable.

2. As a rule, the General Chat Channel should only be used for finding Storylines (SLs), finding Party Groups, and various other discussions pertaining to the Base Storyline (BSL), game-related topics, and continuity. It should not be used for any "Off-topic," Non-Storyline or non game-related discussions. Even if you're out of character, as long as you're following these rules, you should be fine.
