Question about Blessing of Sanct??

So my question is if someone takes damage and blessing of Sanct deals holy dmg, WHO exactly is dealing it? in other words am I getting credit for that holy dmg if I am hit or if a party member is hit? will it help with maintaining aggro if RF is up?

What about ret aura? Do I get credit for that holy dmg if I am hit or if a party member is hit? (assuming its my aura)

Also what aura do prot paladins use? Is it devotion aura?

Whoever is getting hit will deal the damage.

I always use retribution aura, unless there is a retribution paladin with the improved version in my group.

Same, no contest. I was commenting when I wouldn't have my retribution aura up. If the retribution paladin had improved retribution aura and was using it, I'd not be using mine. If he was using sanctity aura, then I'd be using my retribution aura.

And you didn't immediately kick him out of the group? At the very least I'd toss him a few gold to put towards his respec.


I pug quite a bit, and I don't correct people (and especially don't make them feel bad) unless it's absolutely necessary. Commenting on poor talent choices is not something I'm going to bring up.

Putting 2 points into a talent in a tree that requires you hitting things, not taking damage (which is how ret aura procs) for THIRTEEN more damage is 150% stupid. I'm not trying to flame or w/e I'm disagreeing with you and failing to see why this talent isn't either somewhere else or why it isn't seen as a problem to you.


lol -- why are you acting like I took the talent. And geeze, hope we don't group together. I might get kicked because you didn't like the face option I chose at character creation. :P
