So, Out of curiosity, how long does one have to restore an item that was vendored?

I cant find an answer anywhere.

or do GM's not do this anymore? sorry im really bored at work, and this question has been swimming in my head.

Zotte, there is unfortunately no definite answer to this. When a restoration request is made a Game Master will address them on a case by case basis. A word of advice, petition in as soon as an item is lost - if you wait weeks before requesting an item back it may very well be too late.
