PTR Suggestion: Fix for premade issues
by Maryanne | 22/02/2008 15:57:12 Rather than having the premades and such, just add a quest giver in the capital citys that gives you the quest "Gimmie yer gold!". He takes 1 of your gold and rewards you with 1,000,000 XP. Instant 70's to test with. you could even make other quest rewards from him include Badges, Marks, and Honor, just so that those items and functions could be tested well, as well as the vendors for them. This would also fix the swarms of lvl 1's that interfere with everything. This could be coupled with locking the realm so that new level 1's couldn't be made, but that you had to copy a character from a live realm. And you could even make it so that if your character is not >= 58 it cannot be copied. This would also keep off most of the people that don't need to be on the realm from clogging it up. They work exactly as we need them to, whenever we need them. Their use is determined by our needs for testing not by the player's desires. This is not open to discussion or negotiation. |
